To what end do we sacrifice our heart
Repeatedly put it through constant pain and heartbreak
To allow ourself to be beaten up,mentally abused, and physically strained
To what end do we sacrifice our sanity and health for others who don’t think twice about you
Who will allow you to put them first knowing that it’s so hard to pull away
To be taken advantage of and manipulated due to your kindness and absence of selfworth as a youth
To what end do we mentally strain ourself looking out for the welfare of others who will deliberately disobey you because the consequences will not be that of their own
To what end will we allow ourselves to repeat these actions and not learn from them
To what end…
So why do we allow these things to happen? Why do we allow others to run through us, use us, manipulate us, scar us, verbally assault us, mentally abuse us, and emotionally exile us
